BIO
As a flokist, together with helmsman Tomaž Čopi, he paved the Slovenian sailing success story in the 470 class, in which they won the first major international championships for Slovenia - silver at the World Championships (1998), two silver medals at the European Championships (1998, 1999), gold at the Mediterranean Games. They competed at the Olympic Games in Atlanta (1996) and Sydney (2000). After his Olympic career, he devoted his time to entrepreneurship, organisation of the sailing events, and as preseident of the sailing club Pirat to the development of sailing in Portorož. In top sailing events he is a crew member of Team Nika, which has been competing in the RC44 class for a decade and with which they are the only team to have won three world championship titles.
