For many years, Branko has been successful in international crews, most often as a tactician, helmsman or mainsail trimmer. After numerous successes in Melges 20, Melges 24 and ORC classes, last year he became European Champion in the ORC sportboats class as helmsman on Sugar and European Champion in the Melges 24 class on the British Gill Race Team. In his youth he competed in Optimist, continuing in Europe, where he became Mediterranean Champion and 6th in the EP, and competed between 1995 and 1997 in the 470 class.
